I love the classic, coastal grandma style. There’s something so timeless about it. I wanted to share a more modern take on the “coastal grandma” style. Usually it’s more blues and neutrals.
My spin on this style is the classic stripe, yet in black and cream. It even has a touch of French. I added some straw accessories to keep with the coastal style.
Living in Florida it doesn’t get cool until closer to mid fall; so keeping the layers light is best.
This sweater has become a repeat wear- it’s so well made and the buttons are the best and they are functional too! It’s currently 50% off. I styled it with the trendy creamy white maxi skirt (yes, I wear white year round) and flats which are very much in style this year and they are a great fall staple. They are comfortable too. I wore them most day and on the boat to keep my toes warm. My bag is such a cute addition.
