Hi Friends! Long time no chat. I have been spending quite a bit of time right here on my front porch just relaxing and taking it easy. If you’re a new reader, back in February I had an ischemic stroke and it changed my life so much. I recently decided to take a leave of absence from work because I was having a very difficult time both Spiritually and physically. I’ve been having awful anxiety attacks, so much that it felt like I was having a heart attack, as well as head pain. I have had a couple ER visits due to it. So I recently made the decision to take time off and focus on my body and soul. And it has been the best decision I’ve made for myself.
I’ve been to the neurologist and they have told me that they don’t know why I had the stroke.
I was recently told about a neuromuscular practitioner that’s an hour away from me and that she specializes in the neurological/muscular field and she has treated many cases like mine. She is also a dietitian and is helping me nutritionally. She takes a more natural approach to health and wellness both physically and mentally. And she’s helped me a lot with my diet. Because I was very under nourished due to stress and not feeling well and not taking care of myself. The practitioner has also answered a lot of questions about the pain that I was experiencing in my head and is helping me through that as well.
Needless to say, the cause of the stroke was from a muscle in my neck area that blocked blood flow to the artery in my head. It was an injured muscle left untreated from an accident I had and never got looked at and also from so much stress. I travel for work and have a HIGH stress career and my nature is very high strung so add all of that together and it’s not a good combination.
Even though the circumstances were not the best for my decision to take a step back and relax, I’m truly glad that I did. Because I can now focus more on helping others during my time off, resting and cooking nutritious meals. Some I’ll be sharing soon. I’m learning that your health is more important than make another dollar, and tat life is short and to not work so hard that I make myself unwell. And most of all I’ve learned I need to give more time and dedication to the one who gives me every blessing.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers, please continue them and thank you so much for stopping by and spending your time with me. In the meantime if you need any prayers feel free to leave a comment or message me. I’d be more than happy to pray with you and to give encouragement.
Hugs,
Ebonee
