Hurricane Ian relief for SWFL

Hello everyone! Thank you all for the check in and kind words of concern for us Floridians.

I’m so thankful that my town was spared the extreme damage of hurricane Ian. We had heavy gusts of wind and rain which resulted in lots of debris and branches. I haven’t left my house to see the rest of the neighborhood. But I do know that my fellow Floridian Friends in the Southwest Gulf coast of Florida and straight across to Orlando is in need of a lot of help. Some of my family live in Orlando there’s a lot of flooding.

Here are a few vetted Charities that were recommended to donate to:

Convoy of Hope

Mercy Chefs they provide meals for the families who are displaced

Operation BBQ Relief they provide BBQ for the families in need.

Team Rubicon a veteran- led organization.

Salvation army

Feeding Tampa Bay

I was informed that Reef and Reel are taking donations to drive down south. If you live in the area and want to drop off can goods and non perishables.

If you know of any other charities to donate to or local donation facilities, please message me or leave a comment.
