Getting rest & Physical care

Lake Pajamas pajama set. From JB Collection last year.

Hi Friends,

My 2022 goal has been to take care of my body and my oh my,I haven’t been the best at keeping this resolution.

It’s been a rough couple of days, as I have spent 2 days in bed dealing with some chronic pain that I cope with quite a bit. So I wanted to share with you how I deal with days like this and what natural supplements help ease the pain.

First things first, I stay in my cozy pajamas all day and my cozy bed with my heating pad. I suffer from Endometriosis, if you’re unsure of what that it is, you can read it here. So eating well and taking care of my body is paramount. A while ago I was told to try these Women’ probiotics supplements and they have helped with peripheral issues. But, consult your physician, this is just what is helpful for me and natural.

Some things I’ve learned over the years of dealing with this sickness is staying away from refined sugars, caffeine ( I love strawberry green tea and my at home iced vanilla coffee) processed and fried foods which I largely avoid. And its good to practice this daily. Also, consuming lots of veggies and greens and drinking a lot of water because that reduces bloating. This morning I climbed out of bed and went for a walk to help my muscles and to relieve the pain, It was a beautiful and breezy morning. so it was beneficial for my mental health too. Fatigue and anxiety are also among the symptoms, so exercise is very important.

So if you also suffer from this sickness, just know, I totally understand. And here are my tips for feeling better.

  1. Exercise
  2. Healthy foods- like a delicious smoothie filled with berries and greens, a hearty healthy salads drinking a ton of water.
  3. Heating pad
  4. Stretching
  5. Taking vitamins
  6. A hot shower or bath
  7. Lots of rest and prayer

If there’s anything else you know about this subject to help other women like me, please do share.

And remember if you suffer from this sickness, we are all in this together. Stay strong sis, Stay strong.
